FRIDAY, NOV. 09: Warwick Workman’s Club (B) enjoyed a thumping 8-2 win over Spanish Point Boat Club (A) in the second week of snooker’s Open Divsion.

Andy Peniston won his game against Stewart Greenslade 53-44, while Daniel Caines defeated Denis Coyle 61-30.

Nadanja Bailey and Chris Dakin split their match a game apiece. Dakin won the first game 55-16 and Bailey won the second game 60-35.

The doubles pair of Reuben Burchall/A. Peniston defeated D. Coyle/S. Greenslade 45-25.

Queen’s Club (B) took nine points from Royal Artillery Association (A).

New to the league this season, JaCal Washington would win the lone point for RAA by defeating John Nicol 58-54 on the black ball.

Greg Swinbourne won his two games against Honky Burrows, 67-31 and 52-18.

Rick Dorush beat Mike McGowan 60-30, while John Burns/Jimmy McGill defeated J. Washington/Joseph Hayward 53-30.

Sandy’s Boat Club (A) collected all six points from Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club (B).

Peter Bromby had a 22 break as he won two games from Andrew Hanwell — 58-34 and 49-24.

Stuart Mathews defeated Ross Spurling 54-36 and Martin Siese won his game against Jon Pedro 54-22. Martin also had the high break of the  night with 24.

The doubles game saw partners Mathews/Siese defeat Pedro/Bart Lewis 52-25.

Warwick Workman’s Club (A) overcame the challenge of Watford Sports Club (B) easily with a 6-0 triumph.

Timmy Sousa won his game against Keino Zuill 43-24, Wally Tucker defeated Tony Dawson 61-46 and Keith Smith won the two frame games 69-25 and 63-27 against Aaron Bean.

The doubles game saw Andre Burgess/Courtland Furbert defeat Zuill/Dawson 70-54.

The match between Watford Sports Club (A) and Sandy’s Boat Club (B) was postponed.
