You’ve worked hard all year. You deserve to blow off some steam and have a great time over the holidays.

And noone knows how to celebrate quite like the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

The hotel will again this year open its Harbourview ballroom to small companies for an evening of festive food, drinks, music and dancing.

Fast becoming a popular tradition on the island, the Snow Ball Party is a unique holiday celebration, offering a change of pace from the usual office party.

This year the Snow Ball Party will be held on Friday, December 7, from 7pm to 1am.

Guests can feast on a gourmet dinner while enjoying the festive décor, entertainment and party favours for $70 per person plus 17 per cent gratuities.

“A group holiday party is perfect for small companies that want to have a big-party atmosphere without having to spend the money and time planning it,” said Rehanna Palumbo, director of sales and marketing at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

“We’ve noticed over the years that the Snow Ball Party is great networking opportunity for individuals who just want to meet new people.”

In addition to the Snow Ball Party, the Fairmont Hamilton Princess is hosting a variety of events to celebrate the festive season.

With its grand lobby decked out in holiday cheer, including a giant, twinkling Christmas tree, a trip to the hotel is a must-do over the holidays.

“The hotel is truly magical over the holidays,” said Ms Palumbo.

“Whether it’s bringing in your little ones for Teddy Bear Tea and a visit with Santa or it’s coming to the hotel for Christmas Brunch or New Year’s Eve, there is something for everyone at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

“The Heritage Court is also a popular spot this time of year for relaxing with a Christmas martini while soaking up the ambience.”

This year Teddy Bear Tea will be served daily between 2:30pm and 5pm at the Heritage Court, from Saturday, December 1 through Monday, December 24.

In the spirit of giving, children are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or other stuffed friend for donation to various Bermuda charities for families in need.

The cost is $19 per child with a teddy bear, $25 per child without a teddy bear and $35 per adult, plus 17 per cent gratuities.

For a truly relaxing Christmas Day, the Fairmont Hamilton Princess is offering both a lavish Christmas Brunch from 11:30am to 3:30pm and Gala Dinner from 6pm to 9pm, in the Harbourview Ballroom.

The cost for each event is $59 per person plus 17 per cent gratuities. Children aged five to 12 go half-price.

To round out the season and welcome in 2013, join the Fairmont Hamilton Princess on New Year’s Eve from 6pm to 10:30pm for a spectacular six-course dinner at Harley’s Restaurant, with a complimentary glass of bubbly.

Then head over to the Heritage Court for live music and toasts. When the party’s over, enjoy a sumptuous buffet brunch in Harley’s Restaurant from noon to 4pm on New Year’s Day.

The cost for the New Year’s Eve dinner is $125 per person and $49 per person for the brunch, plus 17 per cent gratuities.

Back by popular demand, the Fairmont Hamilton Princess will be featuring entertainer Jimmy Keys for New Year’s Eve.

The hotel is offering a dinner and show package at $169 per person including gratuities that can be purchased directly from www.bdatix.bm or by calling 232-2255.

In addition, there is an overnight package starting at $499 per night, which includes luxurious accommodation, dinner and a glass of champagne for two, plus two tickets for the show.
