FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18: The Garden Club of Bermuda’s Art in Bloom show at Masterworks was such a success, the gallery has expressed an interest in hosting another event in the future.

In celebration of its 90th anniversary, the club’s members created floral designs that interpreted the art work on display at the gallery.

Deanna Moss, president of The Garden Club of  Bermuda, said: “The Art in Bloom show was not a fund-raising project for the Garden Club but rather an example of our giving to the community.

“Everyone who visited the exhibit at Masterworks was very appreciative and delighted by the floral designs and many really enjoyed how the designer had made the interpretation.

“I think many also began to see the designs as art rather than just a flower arrangement.

“For the designers, it had been a challenge which, in the end, they all enjoyed very much.”
