MONDAY, MAR. 26: A woman was forced to perform a sex act at gunpoint, a court heard today.

A 19-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with sexually assaulting the woman in her Hamilton Parish home.

He was also jointly charged with Olicie Morgan, 31 and Triston Burgess, 19, with entering the Hamilton Parish home with a firearm and stealing cash, cellphones, electronics, jewelry and various other items.

The court heard the armed burglary happened at 10.30pm on March 19.

Mr Burgess, of Random Lane West, Warwick and the 19-year-old of Hamilton Parish were jointly charged with taking a motorcycle without consent of the owner both in Hamilton Parish and also in a separate incident in Warwick.

They were also charged with possession of a firearm, assaulting a man with intent to rob him on or about March 19 in Paget and using a firearm to commit an indictable offence, an assault with intent to rob — all in relation to the same incident.

Mr Morgan, of Rambling Lane, Pembroke was charged with handling a firearm without authority and handling stolen goods on or about March 20.

The defendants were not required to enter pleas as the matters are indictable and must be heard in the Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the men into custody until April 9.
