FRIDAY, MAR. 25: The Pakistani warship Alamgir sailed into Bermudian waters yesterday morning.

The navy vessel is the old American Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate the USS McInerney.

The 4,100-ton vessel was renamed PNS Alamgir during a transfer ceremony in 2010 at the Mayport naval base in Florida.

Alamgir pulled into Dockyard at around 9:30am, flanked by two tug boats which manoeuvered her into position at the Commercial Dock by the silos. She is due to leave Bermuda this morning.
