A panel of experts will discuss the BP oil spill and field questions from the public at a meeting next week. The Sustainable Development Round Table will host the meeting on Tuesday at the BUEI from 7pm.

Experts including Director of Environmental Protection Fred Ming will be on hand to discuss the potential implications of the catastrophic spill in the Gulf of Mexico for Bermuda.

Arthur Hodgson, chairman of the round table, said the implications went beyond the possibility of oil hitting our shores. He urged anyone with an interest in the impact of the oil spill to attend.

Also on the panel are William Griffith, Director of Tourism, Dr. Gerry Plumley from BIOS, John Harvey, CEO of the Bermuda Hotel Association, and Martin Law of the Bermuda Employers’ Council.
