FRIDAY, JULY 27: Two men have been remanded into custody in relation to an alleged home invasion on Tuesday morning.
The men were arrested following the alleged incident.
Today, Crown counsel Nicole Smith successfully applied in the Supreme Court for a two-week extension to keep the men in custody under the firearm act.
The media is subjected to a reporting restriction of the men’s names, ages, parishes and any details surrounding the alleged incident.
They have not been charged in relation to the incident.
According to police reports, a victim was taken to hospital with a knife wound sustained during the alleged home invasion.
Police say a firearm was recovered near the scene.
