TUESDAY, MAY 8: A motorist toppled a car over onto its side on Front Street last night, while attempting a turn.

The accident happened near the junction with Burnaby Street, Hamilton, at 7:45pm.

Passers-by rushed to assist the driver, rocking the vehicle and then pushing it upright.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “It appears that a white Jeep was traveling along Front Street when the driver attempted a turning manoeuvre.

“As a result, the vehicle ended up on its side. However prior to police arrival, the Jeep was put back on its wheels and drove off. There were no reported injuries.”
