My husband and I wanted to take advantage of Bermuda’s natural beauty as the gorgeous backdrop for our special day.

The balmy, light breeze flowing off of South Shore helped to keep everyone cool during the ceremony and although we were a bit worried as to whether or not rain might dampen our day, but mother nature held off just long enough for us to finish the celebration.

The afternoon began with a small traditional ceremony with only our close friends and family, followed by cake, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, ending with dinner at the Waterlot.

Our pictures were taken in the park overlooking Astwood Cove with the azure waters and sandy cove making for simply beautiful and memorable pictures.

However, the most special part of the day was that our 15-month-old daughter, Amiah, did a great job as our flower girl.

May 5, 2012 . . . the day our family of three became one!
