WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, 12:30PM UPDATE: The teenaged victim of a serious road accident has been airlifted overseas.
He was reported as being in critical condition at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital yesterday.
Police said this afternoon the 19-year-old man has been flown overseas for further medical treatment.
The collision happened at 7:55pm on Monday on North Shore Road, Devonshire near Barkers Hill.
The Devonshire man was riding a motorcycle along North Shore Road when the accident happened.
Police said: "Traffic was diverted away from the scene while collision investigators conducted their inquiries, however that section of road was later re-opened.”
Police are investigating the accident and witnesses are asked to call PC Odessa Philip on 295-0011.
