TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28: A pedestrian was hurt in a collision with a car this morning.
Police said the 54-year-old Paget woman was in the area of South Road and the Railway Trail in Paget at about 8am when a car collided with her.
She was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Police said: “The extent of her injuries is currently unknown; however they are not believed to be life threatening at this time.”
The 21-year-old female car driver, also of Paget, was not injured.
Police are investigating the accident and are asking witnesses to call the main police number on 295-0011.
