FRIDAY, MARCH 23: Conservationist David Wingate is to give a talk at Warwick Academy as part of the school’s 350th anniversary celebrations and Bermuda’s 400 years of permanent settlement.

In his talk — From Oceania to Suburbia: 400 Years of Dramatic Change — Dr Wingate will explore the effect of man’s settlement on our natural environment.

Andrew Dobson of the Bermuda Audubon Society, which has helped organize the event, said: “For anyone with an interest in Bermuda’s history and/or environment this lecture is not to be missed.”

The lecture will be held at Warwick Academy at 7pm tonight.

Tickets will be sold on the door at $10 for adults and $5 for children.
