WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1: A 27-year-old man denied two charges of attempted murder at Supreme Court Arraignments this morning.
Cervio Cox pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of Lavon Thomas and Darren Thompson on March 24 in Hamilton.
He also denied two counts of using a firearm to commit an indictable offence.
Mr Thomas and Mr Thompson were shot at outside Shine’s Music Club on Reid Street.
Mr Cox was remanded in custody and is likely to stand trial later this year.
A second man, Devon Hewey, has already denied any involvement in the same shooting.
Mr Hewey, 21, pleaded not guilty to two counts of attempted murder and two charges of using a firearm to commit and indictable offence at the June Arraignments Session.
He was remanded in custody.
