WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20: A Pembroke man appeared in Magistrates’ Court today charged with assaulting and threatening his wife.
Andrew Smith, 52, denied unlawfully assaulting Olga Smith and uttering threatening words to her on June 19 in Pembroke.
The court heard the couple is going through a divorce.
Mr Smith will return to court on September 7 for trial.
He was given $3,000 bail and ordered to have no contact with Mrs Smith.
