WEDNESDAY, MAR. 14: A 20-year-old man was today fined after he admitted fighting in public.
Rejay Johnson pleaded guilty to taking part in a fight on Church Street on May 16.
The court heard officers were dispatched to Church Street near Cell One at noon on that day to a disturbance of a fight.
They saw Johnson throw three or four punches at another young man.
When they broke up the fight, the defendant had cuts on his hands as a result offighting.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo fined him $500.
