THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1947

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (VARIATION

OF SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Corporation of Hamilton by section 7(2A) and (2B) of the Road Traffic Act 1947, the following Order is hereby made:-

Citation and 1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Variation of Application Speed Limits) Order 2011.

(2) This Order applies only to the competitors in the Bermuda Bicycle Association Cycle Race on Sunday 28th August 2011.

Speed limit 2. (1) The speed limits fixed by section 7 (2) of the Traffic Act 1947 and roads are hereby varied to the extent specified in the first column 

of the Schedule in respect of the Bermuda Bicycle Association Cycle Race.

(2) The roads or parts thereof specified in the second column of the Schedule are hereby declared to be subject at the times specified in the third column of the Schedule to the speed limit specified in the first column thereof.
