The Minister of Justice, in exercise of the power conferred by section 4(7A) of the Bail Act 2005, makes the following Order:

1 This Order may be cited as the Electronic Monitoring (Approved Instrument) Order 2012.
Approved instrument
2 The Pro Tech SMART One – Wearable Miniature Tracking Device (WMTD) GPS Monitoring Unit, an instrument suitable for monitoring the movements and locations of a person on whom it is fitted, is designated as suitable for the purposes of sections 4 and 5A of the Bail Act 2005, section 70B of the Criminal Code Act 1907 and sections 7 and 11 of the Parole Board Act 2001.
