Premier and Minister of Finance

This Ministry wishes to inform motorists there will be a Road Closure on Berry Hill Road, Paget from the junction of Point Finger Road to the junction at emergency entrance of the King Edward Hospital.  The road closure is necessary to allow for trench works to be carried out on Berry Hill Road for the hospital site new development.

While the road is closed to traffic the contractor carrying out this work will provide access for residents and emergency vehicles to this close section of roadway.

This road closure is effective from 7.30am on Monday 14th May, 2012 and will be completed on Monday 11th June, 2012.  If there is inclement weather on these schedule dates, the work will continue on the following week.

This Ministry apologizes for any inconveniences for the road closure, and request that motorists cooperate with the traffic control devices in this area. They must avoid using this close section of roadway except for access to the residents along this section of closed road.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the section of Coot Pond Road between Naval Tanks Hill and the entrance to Fort St Catherine will revert to two way traffic flow on Monday 14th May 2012.

Restrictions will also be put in place at the same time to prevent access by buses and trucks on the section of Coot Pond Road to the east of the Tobacco Bay beach entrance to the access road to Fort St Catherine. 

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
