COMPULSORY SUBMISSION OF FISHERIES STATISTICS
The owners or operators of fishing vessels are reminded of their obligations to keep daily logs of catch and effort statistics relating to the operation of their licensed fishing vessel and make a return of the catch and effort statistics to the Director.
The deadline for the receipt of catch and effort statistics for all fishing vessels for the year 2011 is Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Fisheries Licensing Office of the Dept. of Environmental Protection located in the Botanical Gardens, Paget.
Persons who fail to keep a correct daily log of catch and effort statistics or make the returns required commit an offence against the Fisheries Regulations.
