WEDNESDAY, MAY 9: There are a variety of options for Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday including the Waterlot Inn, Windows on the Sound, Blu, The Reefs, Griffin’s and many more.
Brunch is a Sunday tradition in Bermuda. We get dressed up to sit and have a morning or midday meal with friends and family.
And for Mother’s Day, it’s taken up quite a notch.
There are a variety of places one can take mom to celebrate Mother’s Day this year.
Whether you want mostly breakfast, sushi, big carvery stations or a large dessert buffet, we have you covered with some of the best spots to spend the day.
Brunch at Fairmont Southampton is a tradition for many families either at Windows on the Sound or Waterlot Inn.
At Windows on the Sound, brunch is from 10am to 3pm with many breakfast items including waffles, pancakes, omelet and more.
The price is $45 for adults, $22.50 for children aged five to 12 whlie kids under five eat free.
There is a 17 percent gratuities charge.
Brunch at Waterlot is $54 for adults, $27 for kids aged five to 12, and children under five eat for free.
The brunch typically starts with banana bread French toast, followed by buffet or fruit, cheeses, etc.
The main course is selected from a menu and served at the table.
There is also a 17 percent gratuities charge and brunch will be held from 10:30am to 3pm.
Blu Bar and Grill will hold its usual brunch on Mother’s Day with seatings at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
Brunch items include sushi, codfish and potatoes, an omelet and waffle station, salads, pizza, desserts and more.
The cost is for $47.75 for adults, half price for children, and kids under five eat free.
Brunch at The Reefs will be held during three seatings, 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm with a cost of $55 for adults.
Children eat for half price and there is a 17 percent gratuity charge.
The Reefs has a large spread including codfish and potatoes, carvery, salads, sushi, dessert and more.
At The Point at Rosewood Tucker’s Point, brunch is $44, half price for children, and children under five eat free.
There will be a special menu for Mother’s Day that hasn’t been created yet and a 17 percent gratuities charge.
Henry VIII will also have a special brunch for Mother’s Day with an extended buffet.
The cost is $47 for adults and half for children with 17 percent gratuities from 12 to 2:30pm.
Fourways will hold its brunch from 10:30am to 2:30 pm with more items than the regular brunch.
The cost is $49.75 for adults, and half price for children over two-years-old with 17 percent gratuities.
Brunch at Grotto Bay is $47 per person with 17 percent gratuities from 12 to 3:30pm.
Children under five eat for free while children aged five to 12 eat for half price.
Griffin’s Bistro at the St George Club will host a special Mother’s Day brunch for $47 per person plus 17 percent gratuities.
Children are half price.
Menu items include salads, codfish and potatoes, desserts and more.
The Beach House at Blackbeard’s will also serve an a la carte brunch for $25 per person plus 17 percent gratuities.
