WEDNESDAY, FEB. 15: Masking tape is usually reserved for mounting art not making it.
That theory has been turned on its head in an art exhibition being held at Bermuda College.
Alice in Wonderland is made up of a number of images literally using tape art as a medium (see picture).
This is the second show held at the college using this unusual medium.
Art lecturer at the college Edwin Smith told the Bermuda Sun: “After the great reception and positive feedback received last Spring semester with the first Tape Art exhibition, the BCAG (Bermuda College Art Gallery) Club has planned and prepared another. Come and enjoy images based on the classic story recreated with only blue masking tape.”
The show runs until March 5 at Bermuda College’s BCAG gallery on the second floor of the North Hall.
