FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7: The PHC Club will host an event tonight to raise money for one of their player’s professional football trials.

The Black and White Affair will be held at the Wine Cellar at the Fairmont Southampton.

It is being organized by PHC’s senior football team, majorettes and drum corp.

The party is being dubbed as “stylish” and DJ Mikey B will play the hottest R&B, reggae, rap and soca all night.

Part proceeds will go towards Cecoy Robinson’s professional trials in the MISL.

Tawana Fox of the PHC Majorettes encourages members of the public to come out and support the event. “PHC is always giving back to the community in various ways and, as a charity, we ensure that we do all we can to keep our programmes running efficiently and effectively as possible for the well being of our youth, our families, and our country as a whole.

“The public support is always greatly appreciated.”

Ms Fox said money would go towards the group’s 10th anniversary in January, equipment to host games for the senior football team and travel to Washington DC for the National Independence Day parade in July.

Tickets are available from any football player or marjorette. Alternatively, call 538-1906.
