FRIDAY, DEC. 21: Two galleries will be opening their doors in the run up to Christmas giving us the chance to get creative with our last-minute shopping.

Only problem is, it might very well be our last minute. As we all know the end of the world is, well... today, as the Mayans would have us believe, so the Bermuda Society of Arts is holding its ARTmageddon Art and Craft Sale at City Hall all day.

You might as well spend like it’s your last and if we survive at least you will have supported local artists.

Up to 16 artists will have their Apocalyptic-themed work displayed and what’s more, there will be discounts on all art.

The sale takes place from 10am to 7pm.

Meanwhile, Dockyard is another great place for last- minute creative gift ideas.

The Bermuda Art Centre at Dockyard will be selling one-of-a-kind locally made gifts over the weekend and on Christmas Eve.

Art from its Small Works Show currently hanging are easy to wrap say owners.

The Arts Centre, and the rest of Dockyard, will be open all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Christmas Eve). On Sunday the Frog and Onion pub next door will be featuring the Cornerstone Puppeteers who start entertaining at 3pm. Santa will be there from 1pm to 3pm also.
