TUESDAY, NOV. 29: The Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation (KAF), a registered charity, today announces that they will be holding an open house for the public on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

“We encourage the public to come out and see what we’re all about,” says Fiona Rodriguez-Roberts, KAF founder and director. “Because a lot of people don’t realise the wide array of courses we have on offer for both adults and children at Kaleidoscope, we feel the open house presents a great opportunity for us to welcome people into our studio and introduce them to our talented teachers.

"Importantly, we are hoping to make better known our mission which is to create and teach art in an environment that is inspiring and accessible to the entire community.”

Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation offers a whole host of regular art courses, from hands on art classes for toddlers and themed art classes for older children, to mosaic and concrete sculpture classes for adults.

“All of our teachers are skilled artists who share a passion for creative expression through art,” continues Ms. Rodriguez-Roberts.

“Our classes are offered both during the day and after school, so we’re hoping to reach as many people as possible. Our location at 27 Jubilee Road in Devonshire gives us a nice amount of space to conduct our classes. Registration for January 2012 is now open, and so I encourage anyone interested in a specific class to book early to ensure they aren’t disappointed. Classes do fill up quickly.”

Course costs for children and adults range from $180 to $297 depending on the course selected and whether the participants are KAF members. Classes start the week of January 9, 2012.

Anyone interested in signing up for classes should contact KAF by email at, call 542-9000, or visit the administration offices at 27 Jubilee Road. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm.
