As the new version of the Yamaha Sniper, the Jupiter MX maintains an overall modern and elegant look including stylish graphics and sleek halogen headlamps.
The body of the bike features a long and wide seat for comfortable riding alone or with a passenger.
The suspension system of the MX135 is designed to absorb maximum shock.
The bike is incorporated with latest and advanced quality of suspension components that offer greater stability and control with the vehicle.
While the bike is lightweight, it has a huge load carrying capacity.
Next, we have the ultimate race bike with Yamaha YZF-R125.
With its aggressive styling, sporty performance and handling, the YZF-R125 is the perfect introduction to supersport riding.
Its liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve, single cylinder, SOHC engine is tuned to deliver free-revving performance and exhaust efficiency for ultra-responsive performance. The engine is crisp and responsive, the fuel injection is spot on and the bike has great pickup.
With front cowling and twin fox-eye headlights, the YZF-R125 has aggressive supersport styling and unlike many 125cc bikes, the R125 is built on a full-sized chassis providing a more comfortable riding position — especially for taller riders.
The R125 also features a lightweight Deltabox frame, which delivers an optimum balance of strength and rigidity for class-leading handling performance.
Complementing the frame is a lightweight cast aluminum swinging arm that allows the link-type rear suspension system to operate more efficiently and deliver more responsive handling qualities.
This bike will be extremely agile around the winding roads in Bermuda.
Yamaha has always been committed to using high-specification components like the large diameter 292mm front disc brake units on the YZF-R125.
The compact twin-pot caliper design on the front-brake combined with the 230mm rear disc ensures smooth, controlled braking at a range of speeds and assured stopping power when you need it, which offers great peace of mind.
The mid-ship exhaust muffler contributes to centralise the bike’s mass for balanced handling and houses dual catalysers for cleaner emissions.
In addition, an air induction system introduces air into the exhaust for more complete combustion of exhaust gases, lowering emissions even further.
With a 13.8-litre fuel tank, the R125 has a range of almost 400 kilometres.
The combined digital and analogue panel speedometer provides a clear view of all the bike’s vital functions at a glance and it looks cool.
I suspect that both the Jupiter MX and the YZF-R125 will appeal to young people in Bermuda, especially men, who like a flashy ride with speed and control.
