NATIONAL TRAINING BOARD (DESIGNATION OF OCCUPATIONS) REGULATIONS 2008

The Minister responsible for the National Training Board, on the recommendation of the National Training Board, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 4 of the National Occupational Certification Act 2004, makes the following Regulations:

Short title

1 These Regulations may be cited as the National Training Board (Designation of Occupations) Regulations 2008.

Interpretation

2 In these Regulations "Act" means the National Occupational Certification Act 2004.

Designation of occupations

3 The Minister hereby designates the occupations in the Schedule to these Regulations as occupations which require compulsory certification in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

Commencement

4 These Regulations shall come into operation on 31st December, 2009.

ENERGY ACT 2009 COMMENCEMENT DAY NOTICE 2009

The Minister responsible for Energy, Telcommunications and E-Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Energy Act 2009 gives the following Notice:

1 This Notice may be cited as the Energy Act 2009 Commencement Day Notice 2009.

Commencement

2 The Energy Act 2009 comes into operation on 28 November 2009.

PRICE COMMISSION ORDER 2009

The Minister of Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(2) of the Price Commission Act 1974, makes the following Order:

Citation

1 This Order may be cited as the Price Commission Order 2009.

Amends Second Schedule

2 The Second Schedule of the Price Commission Act 1974 is amended-

(a) in the First column by deleting, under the heading "Specified businesses", the words "The Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited"; and

(b) in the Second column by deleting, under the heading "Specified commodities", the words "Electricity supply".
