FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23: Gunman Antonio Myers was jailed for life today for murdering Kumi Harford.

Myers, 26, will serve a minimum of 38 years behind bars before he can be considered for release on parole.

The high-ranking Middletown gang member showed no emotion as the sentence was passed.

Mr Harford was gunned down in his car close to his home on Mission Lane in Pembroke in December 2009.

Myers and another gunman, who has not been caught, sprayed 12 bullets into Mr Harford's car.

He received four gunshot wounds and died of his injuries.

Today at Supreme Court Puisne Judge Carlisle Greaves described Myers as a "determined and dangerous man".

In March Myers of Middletown, Pembroke was found guilty of murdering Mr Harford and possessing a firearm.

He had denied the charges.
