Motor Taxi (Taxi Despatching Service) Regulations 1987

By the authority of the Motor Car Act 1951 section 37A(4), the Public Service Vehicle Licensing Board hereby suspends the permit of Bermuda Taxi Radio Cabs Limited ("BTRC") (as granted under section 37A(1)) to operate a dispatching service effective 30 April 2010 on the following terms:

a. BTRC will be allowed to operate under the current permit until 31 May 2010;

b. The permit will be suspended substantively on 31 May 2010 without any further notice to BTRC;

c. BTRC are directed to inform the owners of motor taxis registered with BTRC of such conditional and substantive suspensions of the permit so that they may make any appropriate arrangements; and

d. BTRC are directed to inform any recognized taxi driver unions or associations of the conditional and substantive suspensions.
