Any person wishing to object to the proposed plant may, within 14 days of the date of this publication, lodge their objection with the Department of Environmental Protection, 169 South Road, Paget DV 04. Letters of objection must state the name and address of the objector; the grounds of the objection; whether the objector has an interest in land near to that which the application relates; and be signed by the objector.

As Minister of Labour, Home Affairs and Housing, I order that a secret ballot be carried out by the Labour Relations Officer, pursuant to Section 36 of the Trade Union Act 1965. This ballot will allow the non-managerial industrial workers of the Corporation of Hamilton to determine if they approve the agency shop agreement between the management of the Corporation of Hamilton and the Bermuda Industrial Union. Only the non-managerial industrial workers of the Corporation of Hamilton will participate in this ballot.
The ballot shall read:
"Do you approve the agency shop agreement entered into by your employers and the Bermuda Industrial Union?"
The ballot will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2009 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in the Dock's Office, 24 Front Street, Hamilton HM 12. The Ministry will receive the result of that ballot by noon on Friday, March 27, 2009.
This order is being published for the relevant parties on Friday, March 20, 2009 in accordance with the Trade Union Act.
