• Demand notes for Land Tax in respect of properties in the above parishes will be issued in January and early February. Taxpayers (Persons liable for Land Tax under the taxing acts) who pay the tax in full by the relevant date (see above) will not be liable for interest on the current balance. Interest will continue to accrue for all balances that are past due.

• The Land Tax Office is located on the 1st floor of the F.B. Perry Building, (next to the Market Place) 40 Church Street, Hamilton. Any enquiries regarding the tax payable can be made in person or by telephoning 295-5151, or emailing on taxenquiry@bdagov.bm

BAIL ACT 2005 COMMENCEMENT DAY NOTICE 2006

The Minister of Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(2) of the Bail Act 2005, gives the following Notice:

Short title

1 This Notice may be cited as the Bail Act 2005 Commencement Day Notice 2006.

Commencement

2 The 15th day of January 2006 is appointed as the day on which the Bail Act 2005, with the exception of sections 5, 7(13) and 8, shall come into operation.
