ROOF REPAIRS AND REFURBISHMENTS

Tenders are invited from experienced Contractors for the provision of Roof Repairs and Refurbishments to the Lefroy House Building. The construction includes the following exterior and interior works: removal and replacement of roof sheathing, structural repairs and/or replacement of roof heavy timber, installation of waterproof roof membrane/ coatings, repairs and/ or replacement of verandah wood columns and handrails, demolition to exterior verandah ceiling and interior ceilings, sandblasting cast iron columns.

CLOSURE OF GORHAM ROAD PEMBROKE

The Minister of Works and Engineering and Housing wishes to inform motorists of the temporary closure of Gorham Road in Pembroke on Sunday 12th February, 2006, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The closure is necessary in order to position a crane that is lifting equipment into the Bank of Bermuda.

Traffic will be diverted along Woodbourne Avenue, Richmond Road, and Bermudiana Road.

The Ministry would like to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that this closure may cause.
