First of all, my congratulations to the Bermuda athletics family and to the people of this beautiful nation for hosting the CARIFTA athletics family and organizing the 2012 CARIFTA Games.
As in previous years, I am sure Bermuda will organize a first class event under the leadership of the Bermuda Track and Field Association.
The CACAC would like to recognize the BTFA and the Bermuda Government, for committing themselves to the organization of this important event.
Dedication
Our admiration and respect to all of you for providing the set-up for what we consider the premier junior/youth track and field meet in the world.
Also, congratulations to the hundreds of coaches and athletes, for their dedication and service to our beloved sport.
You are the reason that our sport is producing world and Olympic medallists, and that the Caribbean is recognized as one of the most important regions in world athletics.
Finally, our words of appreciation to the sponsors, volunteers, directors and leaders of the region for their support, services and dedication, not only to our sport but also, for the development of the thousands of girls and boys involved in this social movement.
