To say that emedia is a business that is constantly evolving is an understatement.
Having started out in the living room of owner Jennifer Ward’s house as a two-man team, emedia is now enjoying almost 12 years of success at their Cobb’s Hill and Middle Road location, with an energised and talented team driving them forward.
Managing director Jennifer Ward has assembled a group of individuals, each with their own unique talents and abilities that complement each other perfectly, allowing emedia to evolve to offer their clients a comprehensive service utilising all areas of their business — marketing, website development and public relations.
“Hiring the right people has always been key”, says Jennifer Ward. “The team needs to have the right level of skill to offer the highest level of service to our clients.
It’s also incredibly important that the team are able to work together and that all personalities mesh to get the best results”.
In the role of office manager and media coordinator is Heather Cooper. Heather’s knowledge in the Marketing field allows her to efficiently coordinate all media bookings and calendars and assist with the implementation of clients marketing plans. As office manger she ensures that the day-to-day functions of the office run as smoothly as possible.
Michael Fay operates as the lead public relations manager. Mike brings a fresh and enthusiastic approach to promoting emedias’ clients using traditional means such as press releases and articles as well as non-traditional means such as social networking tools including Facebook and Twitter.
Mike also acts as emedia lead copywriter for marketing and website projects.
Website development has always been emedias’ forte and heading up this area as website developer is Marc Boden.
Marc’s abilities seem endless in what can be done with a company’s website and his ability to easily work with the design team has allowed emedia to take on many new and challenging website projects.
In the role of graphic designer is Susan Simons, whose technical abilities and keen eye for design allows her to take the lead in concepting visual direction and style for a wide range of clients.
She takes on many challenging projects such as company branding, including logo and stationery design, print campaigns, including newspaper ads, posters, brochures and animating website banner ads and website design.
Leading the team is Jennifer Ward who, aside from managing the company, is responsible for project managing all marketing and website projects.
This includes the development of marketing plans and strategies and the coordination of website plans, while maintaining day-to-day interactions with clients to allow emedia to often act as an extension of a company’s marketing department.
A new and exciting expansion to the team will occur this month with the addition of an art director, to allow for the creative work of emedia to blossom even further. This will allow the company to take on many new and challenging clients, and the emedia team is ready and up for the challenge.
