Bermuda Sun has teamed up with Noah’s Ark and BGA/Purina to present Pet Pix 2012!
Does your pet have star quality? A face only a mother could love? Hilarious habits you can catch on camera? Send us your favourite photo of your pet and you could win one of the grand prizes.
Each week for four weeks, we'll choose a pic representing the Dog of the Week, Cat of the Week, Pet of the Week and Pet Who Looks Most Like Its Owner, plus a new writing category for under 16s – Me & My Pet. Over Cup Match, our readers will decide which of the weekly winners in each photo category will be crowned Hot Dog, Cool Cat, Perfect Pet and Pet Who Looks Most Like Its Owner.

CONTEST RULES
Terms:
Bermuda Sun’s Pet Pix contest has specific dates when submissions are accepted. Each specific contest is listed below with dates. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the Contest Rules and Bermuda Sun’s website Terms of Service.
Who may enter:
Any individual normally resident in Bermuda - except for individuals affiliated with MediaHouse Limited or its subsidiaries, including employees, trustees, interns, volunteers, and their immediate families (children, siblings and spouses) and others living in their households - are eligible. Bermuda Sun will determine winners' eligibility.
Contestants may be any age. If a winner is under 18 years of age, written parental consent is required to accept the prize.
Only one (1) entry per pet per category for the entire contest will be accepted. In the event that a contestant submits two or more entries for one pet, only the first entry will be considered in that category.
The contestant must be the current owner of the pet depicted in the photograph.
How to enter Pet Pix and Me & My Pet writing contest:
Complete and submit the Pet Pix contest entry form at bermudasun.bm. Your entry must include one (1) photograph and a short written description of the photograph.
For Pet Who Looks Most Like Its Owner category, the photograph must include both the pet and the owner.
For Me & My Pet, submit one (1) photograph of the child with his/her pet and a maximum of 150 words highlighting why your pet is so special to you. Contest is only applicable to children aged 16 years or under.
Photographs must be at least 800 pixels by 600 pixels.
Your entry must also include your first and last name, age (if under 18), parent’s/guardian’s name (if under 18), pet’s name, contact email address and contact telephone number.
We do not accept entries received by mail or by other means. Bermuda Sun is not responsible for incomplete entries, technical difficulties or entries that are not received by Bermuda Sun.
By entering the contest, entrants grant MediaHouse Limited, a group of companies including Bermuda Sun, a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, for any MediaHouse purpose, including, but not limited to advertising and promotion of its publications and its websites, including but not limited to Bermuda Sun publications. Entrants’ names may appear on the Bermuda Sun sites and may appear in other MediaHouse publications. MediaHouse Limited will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses. By submitting their email address, entrants agree to allow MediaHouse or any of its subsidiaries to use the email for future marketing and promotional uses.
Entry deadline:
All entries must be received via the Bermuda Sun website by midnight (Atlantic time) on Sunday, July 29, 2012. Entries received by midnight each Sunday starting July 8, 2012 will be considered in that week’s judging. To avoid uploading delays, please do not wait until the final days of the contest to enter.
Weekly and grand prize judging:
Four (4) weekly winners (one each week) in each of the four categories (Dog of the Week, Cat of the Week, Pet of the Week, Pet Who Looks Most Like Its Owner of the Week) will be chosen by judges from the Bermuda Sun. Winners’ names and, if applicable, photos will be published on the Bermuda Sun website on Wednesdays and in the Bermuda Sun on Wednesdays starting July 11, 2012 and continuing weekly for four (4) consecutive weeks. Each of the four (4) weekly winners in each category will be entered in the final round of judging by the public for the grand prizes. The grand prize winners will be featured in the Bermuda Sun on Friday, August 17, 2012.

The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Bermuda Sun reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. Decisions of Bermuda Sun will be final.
