THURSDAY, MARCH 15: Christopher Eaton has been appointed to the newly created position of director of business solutions at the Ignition Group.
Michael W. Branco, executive vice president and general manager of the Ignition Group said: “Christopher’s extensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients in the offshore market together with his expertise in technology solutions made him the ideal person to lead our Business Solutions practice. Ignition has a strong portfolio of existing business solutions implementations in SharePoint, BizTalk and ViewPoint, which Christopher will build upon.”
Mr Eaton has over 20 years of experience in the IT sector and has worked within several offshore financial services centres including the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
He has held senior positions with leading technology companies including Mission Testing plc and Business Objects.
Mr Eaton will be responsible for developing and growing the practice across the three solution areas: software solutions based on Microsoft technologies; Practice Management solutions based on the market-leading ViewPoint application; and Records Management services including consulting, scanning and ECM solutions.
