THURSDAY, AUGUST 2: Reggae star Wayne Marshall said Bermuda holds a special place in his heart.

Speaking to the Bermuda Sun right after he made a surprise performance at the Collie Buddz show last night, Marshall said: "Bermuda is fast becoming one of my favourite islands.

"It is all about having a good time and I love the energy here."

He commended islanders for their feel-good attitude and promised he would be giving his "full 100 per cent" at Barmuvinjam's Friday's Soca Versus Reggae show in Dockyard.

Marshall, who has been to Bermuda on several occasions, said he planned on returning to the island regularly.
