10AM FRIDAY UPDATE: A mother-of-two who had been missing since the weekend has been found.

Mary-Beth Sherwin was located in the early hours of this morning in Warwick.

Police discovered Mary-Beth Sherwin’s Suzuki Wagon at around 4pm yesterday, but would not say where it was discovered.

Ms Sherwin, who is the wife of Dr Steve Sherwin, was last seen on Sunday catching the ferry at Darrell’s Wharf.

Police initially sent out the first missing person alert on Wednesday afternoon.

And this was followed by a further press release yesterday asking for the public’s help to trace her last movements.

A police spokesperson said: "Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 48 year old Marybeth Sherwin who was located by officers in the early hours of this morning a in Warwick.

"She was found unharmed and inquiries into this matter are on-going."

The search for a mother of two who has been missing since the weekend continued yesterday.

Police discovered Mary-Beth Sherwin’s Suzuki Wagon at around 4pm yesterday, but would not say where it was discovered.

But by the time the Bermuda Sun, went to press the 48-year-old mother of two had still not been found.

Ms Sherwin, who is the wife of Dr Steve Sherwin, was last seen on Sunday catching the ferry at Darrell’s Wharf.

Assistance

A force spokesperson said: “The Bermuda Police Service is still seeking  the public’s assistance in locating a missing vulnerable person, 48-year-old MaryBeth Sherwin.

“She is described as a white female, small-framed 5’6”, 120 pounds and she was  last seen on Sunday, February 16,  catching  the ferry to Darrell’s Wharf.

“Police have received information on her movements, however, we are still trying to locate her.

“Also, anyone who knows her whereabouts, please contact police on 295-0011 immediately.”
